Fixed an annoying GTK issue
When I first set up this desktop around last year, I noticed that desktop applications using the GTK framework started up really slowly. Upwards of 30 seconds to a minute, even. For my purposes, that was nothing, I was mostly on my PC for leisure and personal business at the time. However, things began to change when I had to begin working from home at my new job.

that recommended removing xdg-desktop-portal
and dependencies. I just adapted the instructions from
pacman to apt, and then reboot my machine just to be
sure.
I was actually surprised to see it worked, and got my GTK apps to open at under a second like it normally did in the past.
